What Valve Springs To Use On 305?

I am rebuilding a STOCK 91...305...TBI Camaro engine to stock specs with stock ROLLER cam ... I have some questions ... My Old valve springs have 150,000 miles on them ... is it ok to re-use them ? The old springs are 2 " long at rest and rated 70-80 lbs.at 1.75" compressed height ... I also have a set of NEW Erson springs leftover that fit this engine they are 2.25 " long at rest and rated 110 lbs at 1.75 " compressed height ... So I have some questions about springs #1- is should I use the old springs ? #2 - is should I use the new ERSON stronger springs I already have and question #3 -is Should I just go out and get new STOCK replacement original type springs ?? While I am at it asking these spring questions I am wondering what the difference is in springs for a roller cam engine verses springs for a non-roller cam engine ? THANKS !

COME ON SPRING ! Bob in Michigan
