Re: k24

2006 Accord K24 has 166hp and 160 ft.lbs of torque. Compression is at 9.7 to one. Of course the K24 in Acura TSX is pushing 205 hp and 164 ft.lbs. It runs at 10.5 to 1 compression. There are folks out there putting K20 head on K24 block. Accord and Element both have K24s but I think they are slightly differently tuned. Anyways, Accord K24 block is favorable if are planning to boost it because it has lower compression ratio. Anyways both blocks bolt right on to 2001 and on Civics with new engine mounts.

My dream is that my buddy and my wife get rammed by buses. Don't get me wrong. I really love them both dearly but my buddy has a 2001 RSX-S and my wife has a 2005 Accord. Perhaps I can get them of the insurance cheap.
