Dome light/ CD player problems

I own a 1997 Jeep Cherokee and my buddy and I were installing new speakers tonight into the rear sound bar, but when we started the car up the dome lights and head unit wouldnt turn on. The wiring was done correctly and we checked the fuses and they are all fine. If anyone has an idea about what we should do I would appreciate your feedback.

I would start removing things again and make sure you didn't cut any wires or ground something out while you reinstalled everything.
