Need tips on launching...

Ok i have a integra type r and i wanted to know the best way to launch it, they do have limited slip differential whic h makes it harder to launch actually because you have to drop it at higher rpms so it won't bog out and drop out of vtec zone. I noticed you have to get at least 5500-5700 rpms most of the time to get a really good launch other wise, it bogs. So whats a good way of doin this with out hurting the tranny? I used to jsut dump the clutch and slam the gas at like 5600, but then i ended up having to fix my differential cause something went wrong with it, i hear rolling the clutch is better at higher rpms, is this true and any suggestions? thanks for the help

PS. i wanna get the best launch possible with my car.

It's always better to eeeeaaassseeee the clutch out, whether it be racing or taking off casually from a stoplight. As for getting the best launch, however, I'd have to say that revving and dumping is probably going to be your most effective method. But reguardless, even if you do ease it out quickly, you're still racing. IT'S GOING TO BE HARD ON THE TRANSMISSION, SUSPENSION, ENGINE, EVERYTHING. Extreme wear and tear on your vehicle comes with the territory.

i agree, that's the most effective method. i killed my entire clutch within months using that method of launching.

Talking Yeah

unforturnetly us stick drivers don't have the ability of just gassing it and go when it comes to racing so more coustion must be made. But yeah I agree eassing off the clutch is propbably the safest way. Just do some really good shifting once you get the launch taking care off.
