door lock
for some odd reason my door lock in my driver door will not work if it gets a lil cold out, it's really finicky, when i press the power lock button the door doesn't even make a noise some times. i don't know if it's because it's cold it's not working right or there is actually something wrong with the actuator or something
thanks ritchie |

Re: door lock
All of your recent problems you have posted (dome lights, dash lights, power windows, door locks) are caused by the wiring harness that passes thru the body into the front of the drivers door. There are alot of wires in this harness and the constant opening & closing of the driver door will eventually wear down the wires causing an open or short circuit. Sounds like you have a couple of each. Maybe someone who has done the repair will reply with tips on the best way to get better access. May or may not have to remove the door panel to get more slack to work with ??
