Fair asking price, input please!
Not sure about the correct forum but I chose this one because the level of knowledge about imports seems to be higher than other forums. My question...
I am selling my d16y8 (out of 97 civic ex Sohc vtec) the motor had 120,000 when it was taken out. It was always well maintained and the first 100,000 were put on by a saleswoman who owned the car before me. I took it out to do a GSR swap. I would be selling just the motor, no tranny or ecu. I was wondering what a fair price would be to ask for it. I think 500 is alright? Let me know what you guys think i dont wanna let it go for too little but I need money badly to finish my swap. All replies are much appreciated |

that seems a lil for an engine with no ecu or tranny with 120K+ on the engine, ive seen 30k+ engine and ecu's go for that.
id bring down to like 300.
