Wheel and tire help

I have a 1967 Chevelle with the G Machine susp. and has been lowered 2 inch. It now has rally wheels size 15x8 in the back and 15x7 up front. I'm trying to buy some new rims and tires and need some help. I like the Torque Thrust ll in the 17x8 for the front and back. I just don't know what size tires etc. will fit with out problems. I have been told that a 245/45/17 would work but I really want this thing to be as mean as possible. I've got a ton of money in the car and the susp. and I want this thing to look and handle greta. Any help would be great.

Thanks.....

Re: Wheel and tire help

Do you know someone that has an F-body wth stock 17 wheels and tires? That would be a good start for a test fit.
