Next track car...

Ok. Im selling my 97 Prelude, and I want to get a good car for road racing this summer, and I was going to try and get an integra GSR like I used to have, but I also might be able to get my hands on a low milage 1990 300ZX Twin Turbo for a good deal. I am goin g to be setting it up to be a good track car, and I know that both of the cars would make a good track car, and even though this is a Z forum, let me know your honest opinion on what you guys think I should go with. Thanks.

i would go with the integra for steady track use. maitenance on the Z is too timely and costly for a track car. its not unreliable but all cars will break with steady track use and high revving and the Z just isnt a easy or quick car to work on. alot of things involve a motor pull...

I think the Z32 is a great track car, but yeah, maintenence would be killer. The GSR would be much easier to work on, but probably not as good on the track. Just my honest opinion.

oh yeah, as for the Z32 handling the tracks and corners. yes it would be very good but as far as steady track use, it will break, and parts are not cheap and maitenance or not easy or quick.

there are better options...i all i am saying but between those 2 i would rather have an integra be my track car. blowing a motor is a easy pull and reinstall later, not to mention parts are cheaper and more readily available.
