rear speakers

ok 1998 pontiac grand prix gt... i bought new speakers. but i cant figure out how to get the damn rear seats out... i know how to get the seat.. but i cant get the backs out little help? if you have a website with pictures that would be great thanx.

Read Andylikespez post on rear speakers. The directions are on there. I'm just to lazy to rewite it. The post should be close to the top of the list.

there are 4 bolts along the bottom of the seatback, the two center ones also hold the seat belts. After that, there are clips at the top of the seat that require the seat back to be lifted while pulling outward. Work from one side to the other, an assistant may make it easier, one of you on each side.

i havent reread through the instructions thread, but just make sure when you put the rear deck carpeting back in, you get it around the third brake light. i messed up, bolted back the seats in, and found out that it wasnt around the lip, its not that big of a deal, im just too lazy to take it all apart again. its not a huge task though once you get the hang of it.
