I am getting a new car, in a couple months. (err a used one)

I cant decide on what i want any suggestions that are good for hooking up? good specs and features?

Anything from the toyota supra - integra - civics

I just want something that is sporty, good for mods and is a small coupe.

Im planning to spend about 10 k on a car and 5 k on the body kits , Im 19 yrs old. Supras arent that epensive if you get a "naked" one and hook it up. Any ideas what i should get?

I was gonna recommend a supra but if you were like 15, they would have screwed you on the insurance

Are you looking for good looks or speed or what? An Integra would be a nice choice for a little of both. Supra would be an awesome choice if you can find one for 10g's but I would definatly get a 93+ if I were you. I don't like the older ones. Another good choice would be a 95-99 Mitsu Eclipse GSX (AWD Turbo). Thats already quick as it is. Do some minor upgrades to the engine and turbo and that'll be really quick. I'm not sure what those go for tho.

Good luck with your choice!

yea i would say go for the GSX. AWD and i heard you can run between 14-16 pounds of boost for daily driving and up to 19-20 for racing on stock internals. correct me in i'm wrong tho.

Mustang (eeew Ford, but you can make the older ones really fast)
Camaro (Another Dumbestic, but pretty good support)
Integra (Very good aftermarket support, Go for the GSR, downside is theft)
Del Sol (Very sporty, removable top, can use a lot of 5th gen Civic parts, good support, Go VTEC model tho 160HP)
RX7 (Rotary Engine Need I say more?)
Supra (fast as hell, good support)
Celica
Eclipse GSX or Talon TSI (stock turbo, AWD, already pretty quick)
3000GT

In all impartial seriousness, I would go with something made by Honda. Even though there are a lot of riced out ones and a lot of idiotic owners, Hondas are excellent as far as reliabilty and durability. We had an Accord with 212k miles on it and still ran perfect when it was sold. My car as 170k and it runs excellent and has never given me any trouble minus the cracked distributor cap ($10) and A/C (broken condensor). Hondas also have a tremendous amount of support, both OEM style and aftermarket performance.

If you are looking to go really fast, I would say go with the Supra, Eclipse or RX7. Hondas are nice, but face it they aren't made to go as fast as a Supra. Hondas are made as an economy car (minus s2000 and NSX). If they were meant to go as fast as we push them nowadays, they would all have come with a B18C5 and a turbo. But thats not what they're made to do. Thats why they made the NSX and S2000.

Basically it comes down to what you want out of the car. Looks, performance, reliabilty, aftermarket support, etc. It also depends on your taste and style. You also have to consider everything like if you're going to drive it in the winter, if you have a snow or ice where you live. RWD cars suck in the snow.
