2001 3.8 A/c clutch noise
Hey guys, I have an 01 police pkg that just started making a loud noise in the direct area of the A/c pulley. Car still runs fine but the check engine light is on and it obviously should be fixed. Anybody have any suggestions? Do I go to a junk yard and grab a whole a/c unit or can the actual clutch portion be repaired or replaced? Thank you

if the check engine light is on, go to autozone or checker and have them check out what DTC is set, then come back, I can look it up for you.

Re: 2001 3.8 A/c clutch noise
code is 0128. The code reader reset the alert and now the noise is gone (although I only had it on for a few minute). My listing didn't show 0128. I appreciate your help.
