Yeah libertys are ok but i like cherokees better. They are a smooth ride and i thin kthey look better than libertys. Libertys are too tall and short..... when it comes down too it i like cherokees better. No offence but their are a lot of civics on the road.... i see a lot more civics than cherokees.

Yeah... you see a lot of both of these cars.... i really like my cherokee though. Your the first person that did not rip my head off when i mentiond that their are to many on the road. I guess i wouldnt mind them if their werent so many..... its jus that everybody puts rims and a spoiler on theirs and it becoems instantly fast. Most of the time i kill civics with my cherokee.... everybody says their slow but they are actually kinda quick.

what have you done to it? i had a 93 integra rs stock with 3 other people in it and i raced a 95 -99 ? cherokee laredo 8 cylinder and i stomped him. Most civics 92-00 coupes are slow as hell but watch out for the si's (hatchbacks) they are really light weight.

I have only done a little too it... i took the cat off of it and replaced it with a cherry bomb to give it a nice rumble.. it sounds good. Also for the heck of it i added a cone filter for looks, and it sounds kinda cool when you get on it. Its pretty quick, it has a switch on it to put more power to the transmission and whne you get on it it really goes, it also allows it to redline higher so it doenst shif t so soon. I usually dont have to much trouble with civics but i will take your word for it. Not all are bad its just thta their are so many. Have you dont anything significant to yours? I have a cherokee laredo 4.0, i didnt know that they made them with eights, i thought that all of the laredos were I 6's. Now why in the world would you get rid of an Integra.... the only good Honda is Acura. You got any pics of your car? if you do let me se some.

i was stupid for getting ridof the integra i miss it

well my civic got totalled last sat.

i jsut did basic stuff to it

stage 2 racing clutch - act
air intake
lighten flywheel
n1 racing exhaust (doenst sound like a weedeater)
17inch tenzo r wheels
and abunch of stuff that made it look better

but im getting sick of hondas, to mnay of them and they cost to much to make the mgo fast.

all wheel drive turbo eclipse or a turbo rx7 is next for me

It's not an SUV.... It's a Jeep! :-)

Tell you what... I'll race you in my Jeep Liberty... off road, of course! Anyone who claims victory racing a Jeep on the street is deluding themselves! It's a Jeep thing.... you either get it... or you don't.

And if you want to race on the street I'll use my GTO!! That's a real car. 6.5litre... 385 hp... no need for 'cherry bombs' for a 'rumble'.

How can you say they are better, a liberty is something chrysler puked up when they had no where else to go. Cherokees are the original jeeps, they are made better, last longer and better for offroading or anything, they even look better.

hmmmm... wonder what the Willy's, CJ, TJ, etc guys would say about that?

As for the rest...
All the Cherokees I've seen tend to have a heck of a lot of rust so I'm not so sure about that aspect of their durability.

The Cherokee's styling is very out-dated, granted, style is a personal preferance and there will always be disagreement there.

but 'Puked up'?? The PT cruiser was puked up. The Aztec was puked up.

As someone who is over 6' tall, I've never found the Cherokee to be comfortable - especially the back seat. Liberty has got way more head room.

I go off roading with TJs and YJs ... haven't had a problem yet.

And besides, why would anyone complain about a Jeep made with Mercedes engineering? The engine (Mercedes redsign of the 4.7l V8 from the Grand C) is rock solid. Frame and body are tight.

Listen... if you are a true Jeep guy then you should have the right Jeep attitude. If it's a Jeep, then appreciate it for what it is. I'd stop to help you out on the side of the road before I'd help a Ford Explorer or Mazda Tribute or some other grocery getter.
