95 Explorer ABS light on and brake problem.

I have a 95 explorer Eddie Baeur Edition. The ABS light comes on every now and then and sometimes when i hit the brake pedal it makes a weird type of moaning noise and the pedal goes almost all the way to the floor and it pulls real hard to the right when it happens. Brakes seems good and work good unless this happens..

Any idea's without me having to go get it checked out for 70 bucks? Thanks.

Re: 94 Explorer ABS light on and brake problem.

This is a 94 not a 95, sorry.

I disconnected the ABS harness and all the problems go away. So anybody know what is causing this? Thanks.

You will need to have it diagnosed with a scanner that is capable of reading the ABS. More than likely it is a bad wheel speed sensor, but without codes or scan data, I would not want to venture a guess.
