Brake light and alarm problems

My drivers side rear brake light stays on...the interior brake light does not come on. Does anyone know what causes this?

Also, my alarm is retarded. Whenever i open the door the alarm goes off and the only way to shut it off is to put the key in the ignition and turn it on. Does anyone know where tha alram is so i can take it out? I dont need it. Thanks!!

Re: Brake light and alarm problems

(1995 3.6 V6 4x4 ) The alarm is a factory alarm connected to the rodeos horn.

Also i fixed the light problem. The contact points were switched around, so i turned them and presto, everythings normal. Now if i can get rid of that stupid alarm.....
