Need to identify TS spray color
Hi!
I'm searching for Tamiya's TS spray for 1/24 Tachikoma model (from anime "GITS") by Wave. I asking here because car modellers tried many colors and someone should know for sure. It is impossible to choose color according to can cap or picture from web. If anyone already used near color please identify it's name/number. Please be sure this color is same (or almost same). Homepage for this model (there are photos for completed model and unpainted model): http://www.hobby-wave.com/pickup/tachikoma/index.html And a pair of other questions... Anyone tried paint marker "Plated silver" from CSI-Creos/Mr.Hobby (former Gunze)? At HLJ (search there if you want to see) painted plastic spoon looks almost like real metal. This is possible? What base of this marker if anyone tried? And what thinner (and cleaner) should I use with Gundam Colors (if anyone know)? Don't advise "Mr.Thinner". No one shop can't send thinners worldwide. And if can then I don't want order only thinner. Thanks. |

Re: Need to identify TS spray color
TS44 Brilliant Blue is probably the closest match.
As for thinning the Gundam Markers, the regular ones are alcohol based, and the fine tip ones are oil based. Some how-to books suggest that you use enamel thinner like Tamiya's X-20. |
