Re: lights out
If the lights don't come on when you open the doors, or by moving the interior lamp swith to on. Then I think the problem is with the Body Control Module(MALL). (1) check PWR DR LK fuse and INT LP fuse in RH rear power Distribution center fuse block #1. (2) Check for poor terminal contact at harness connectors. (3) Check installation of any aftermarket electronic equipment. (4) check for broken or damaged wires.
Other than these checks, you have to use a diagnosis chart inorder to find the problem. Sounds like a job for a Auto Electric shop. Unless you have a volt meter and a manual. The MALL is under LH side of I/P, on (LCM) lamp control module bracket. Last edited by kiway22; 02-20-2006 at 10:44 PM. |

Re: lights out
I had same issue with 2001 and after buying wiring books and tracing circuits from rear fuse box to all interior lights I found a wire in drivers visor vanity shorted where it goes through pivot arm. Have now found this is a common problem. Nice to know aftre 5 days of tracing wires and new module box bought.
