F22 head swap
Ok i have a 90 accord lx with the non-vtec F22, i was looking at an H23 swap but the guy i was going to buy it from for his civic h23 monster. I was wondering if it would be possible to put the head from a later model F22 vtec i know i would have to keep it within the obd1 series for the distributor and everything, and the wires for the solenoid and the ecu. But it is like a Ls/vtec swap where you need to do minor machine work to the head to make the dowels line up as well as the rest of or would it be a direct bolt on plug and play. This seems to be the cheaper route for a vtec motor. Maybe get the possibility of higher compression and a higer revving motor. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. thank you

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.
