1993 F-150 4x4 Stalls in Drive & Reverse
I have a 1993 Ford F150 4x4 5.0 Engine runs fine however when trans is engaged in drive or reverse the engine dies. RPMs on tach does not increase in RPMs when engaged in drive or reverse. Idle control valve has been replaced. Engine has been tuned..new plugs, wires. This condition occurs whether it is cold or has reached operating temp. Some possible solutions recommended are lock up converter stuck, transmission range position sensor. Has anyone had the same problem and if so have these been the solutions?
