Red face 2003 Radio Reception - Something Wrong

Hello All,

I purchased an 03 Yukon SLT 4x4 tonight from my local Honda dealership. They got it yesterday on trade for a Civic. Anyway - I am very impressed and can't tell this one from a new one. Carfax report was clean. Someone really took care of this one.

The dealer told me that they would have to do something to the radio one day next week. They hadn't had time to fix it yet. The problem is that on FM, I can only pick up the two stations that are within 20 miles from me. Everything else is static. Hopefully it's just an antenna disconnect problem. I have the single CD/Cassette Bose system. Is there an easy way for me to check the connection just by reaching under the dash? Anyone else had a similar problem? Dealer said they would replace the entire unit if they had to.

Thanks for any help or ideas.

its not that hard to take the radio out...pull off the plastic outer trim that goes around the whole dash..it pulls off...then there are four small screws holding in the radio...take them out and you can pull the unit right out to check the antenna...hope this helps....
