Fuel Filter

I have a 1997 Lesabre Limited just recently purchased, and I am doing the usual maintenance. I would like to know if anybody could tell me where the fuel filter is located.

Re: Fuel Filter

You'll find it in the fuel line going up towards the engine on the passenger side of the car. It's above the frame rail next to the wheel.

Just to add to LoeKee's post. The filter is more towards the rear of the vehical just ahead of the fuel tank on the pass side. Keep in mind that the fuel line is has presure in it most of the time. Besure to releave the psi. You will also have fuel runing out of the lines that will run down your arms so have rags to wipe up.

Do a search on this. I posted when I changed my filter. You could check for all posts started by me.

Regards

Dan
