Question Air Intake Problems

1996 GMC Jimmy 4x4

After My body lift, the stock airbox does not line up so I was forced to go with a cold air intake off of ebay, works fine on pavement, but truck is mainly used off road.

When I hit water or mud, air filter is first to go in, causing other problems.

What I want to know is if anyone has seen or come across a snorkel idea or a way to move the intake point.

As you all know the engine bay is quite cramped (not much room to run intake hose/pipe.)

Thanks guys.

You would have to make your own snorkel. No one makes it for our trucks that I'm aware of. Though even with the stock system you would have had the same problem. Another option is that k&n makes a sock for the cone style filters for off roders to keep mud out of the system. www.kandn.com
