00 lesabre gas
on my 2000 lesabre the service engine light came on and the car said gas cap loose but when i tightend it the ses light still was on and it still read gas cap loose. so then i went to go put gas in it and the gas was coming back like as if the tank was full or clog anyone know what to do or know what is wrong with it please help

The lite will not reset till the pcm sees the problem is gone after a certain number of test cycles, the filling problem could be a problem in the tank vent system, get it scanned for codes.
