Timing Chain Questions

I have a 92 B2600i and my timing chain broke. I found a kit that includes everything I need to replace it, but I have two questions. 1. Is it really hard to do? 2. Is my motor interference or non-interference? If somebody can help me out on this situation I would greatly appreciate it! Cuz I love my lowrider and I would hate to let it go down like that.

Re: Timing Chain Questions

Timing chain replacement should not be to much of a project as long as you have a chilton or haynes manual for the timing specs, and your 2.6L should not be an interference motor I don't beleive any of them ever were, also if you are doing a timing chain you should also look into a balance shaft eliminator kit usually it will save you time, money and a lot of headache, good luck
