RSX kill, maim, bludgeon, etc

I have had a few RSX-S run-ins in the last few months, including a boosted RSX which was quite quick. The one I raced in this story, was not.

I was at an ice cream place (only in wisconsin do people buy ice cream when it's 20 degrees out), and came outside to see some tool in his RSX sitting next to my car. As I got to my car, he rolled the window down and goes "sup you wanna run"? I'm like WTF. Do you have that little of a life that you drive around, find a nice car, park next to it, and wait for the owner to come by so you can ask him if you want to run?

I told him politely no that's quite alright. (i know i turned down a race, mark it in the books) He's like, "yeah stupid S2000 owners, always afraid to race someone faster". I say to him as I get in my car "and what is it that makes your RSX so darn fast". He's like "hondata i/h/e and some other stuff.... outta your league". Wow, I didn't realize a car owner could get so pissed off and butt hurt that someone didn't want to bother wasting the gas to race him.

With that, I get in my car and drive off. Of course, the asshat follows me. We're in downtown west bend, where it's a 30mph zone, and there's no way in hell I'm going to race in this cop infested area. This clown is just speeding up, and then slowing down. I'm in the left lane, and he goes zipping by in the right, puts flashers on and then slows back down. He then gets next to me, drops it into 2nd gear and sits there. I still don't bite, so he takes off again, pretending he's racing someone (insert speed racer theme here) and then stays ahead of me. I figure this is the end of it.

The light at the next intersection turns just before he gets there, and he SLAMS on brakes to make sure he gets lined up next to me. I'm at the light, and he's revving his car. I do nothing. I know that regardless of what I do, he's going to go off into his own little world and pretend to race someone again. At this point, I've had enough of the little f*cker, and now I'm more than willing to oblige since we're on the outside edge of town.

The light turns, I do a quick rolling start, and he goes to take off. I mash the gas, and we're off. 1st gear, I'm walking. 2nd gear, still walking. 3rd gear, and I'm walkity the walking man walkin' and a walkin'. I've got probably 7 cars on him by the time I hit 80 or 90, and I shut down. After I shut down, he keeps going a little, then slams on his brakes and makes a turn, trying to act as if he had never really been racing. Loser.

Vtec escort?

And...NICE KILL!! I have meet up with toomany cocky RSX owners. It seems that having an RSX makes you a 10second car owner.

Any mods reduces it by 2seconds each.

Re: RSX kill, maim, bludgeon, etc

nice kill. The last rsx I raced almost resulted in a fight on the side of the road. A female friend of mine has one though, and all in all they aren't bad cars, but definantly not as fast as some of their owners would like to think they are.

Re: RSX kill, maim, bludgeon, etc

It was on the 4th of July, I think 2 years ago. I was working something like 25 miles from home at the time, not a fun commute, especially because there were alot of cops. But I still raced at parts. Well I'm driving home rather quickly, as I wanna get home, shower, get drunk and go watch some fireworks in teh city. So I'm taking some gaps, getting through traffic (each direction has 2 lanes and there is a center turning lane going the whole length of the road)
I get into the left lane, front of the pack (doing about 70 in a 45) and look in my rearview and see some jackass in a blue rsx-s cruising down the center turning lane doing like 90mph. He comes up and almost sideswipes my door. So I toss my arm out the window and give him the single-digit salute. He locks up the brakes and waits for me to pull up next to him. We exchange pleasantries, he keeps telling me to pull over and fight, but his car is loaded with 3 other drunk friends, so I refuse and just pull on him. Of course traffic continues to get bad, and so multiple times I have to slow down and he gets next to me, so this crap continues for 5 miles. Finally I shift a couple lanes and turn through a yellow light or something, surprised, he didn't follow.

I call the cops and give them teh license plate, but they didn't even care. They said they couldn't do anything unless I came down, met with an officer, and signed a statement. I was pissed because it was the 4th and I had plans, so I declined. Hopefully they got pulled over for DUI later on.
