Fuel line pressure question?
Hey guys, I had my fuel pump/filter replaced last month and since I got it back I have to give it a couple of seconds when I turn the key to run before I switch to crank.
If I try to switch the key all the way the first time, it won't start. It seems like the fuel line is empty when I try to start the truck, doesn't this line is pressurized all the time? Your help would be really appreciated!! |

That said it could be external to your injection system but not likely. it usualy is the injection system. You don't say the year of your Jimmy so if it is an older one it will need nut kit and or a pressure regulator. one of them are leaking. Do a search on the forum for these parts and you will get a lot of information on this Some including pics. if it is newer it will be in the pressure regulator. either way you wil need to pull the top off of the intake manifold to check it out. Good luck Jimmy58
