spair tire hanger

How do you replace the spair tire hanger? It has striped out. It is a 2002 Chvy expres van. I do have the repair manuals. But, haven't yet located where it talk about this
Thank you

Re: spair tire hanger

Is your spare tire located under the vehicle? No matter where it's located I doubt you will find anything about it in a service manual. It sounds like you'll have to frabricate something that can repair or take the place of the stripped out parts. If you're handy it shouldn't be hard.
