Hello

My girlfriend has a 1.6 Megane, it still has the original stero.

There are wires in place for rear speakers., but when i wire them up no sound comes through, I have checked the fade.

Are there some wires on the back of the stereo that need connecting.

Also how do you remove it there are a couple of holes, do you just stick a bit of wire coathanger in them?

Finally is there a code for it? if so we cannot find the number, is there a way to find it out?

Check to make sure the wires are connected to the correct ports on the speakers.

As for removing the stereo, you should use a special key for this, if you don't have one, most dealerships will.

And as for the code, go to any renault dealership, give them your cars registration number & show them proof that it is your car and they will provide you with a code there and then.
