1997 pontiac gt,lights for radio controls on steering wheel doesnt work

can anyone help,my lights quit working on my radio controls on steering wheel,what may be the problem and how do i fix it?thanks

Sounds like the illumination lamps are out. Here's a procedure to correct the problem.

ive noticed random bulbs on my entire dash are going out im not sure where i read it at. but somewhere they said that most bulbs on the grand prix are desighned to last about 7 years. its lmaost not even owrth replacing the bulbs...but whatever. one of the bulbs went out from behind my information center..so now only half the car brightly lights up...i dont even know how to go about chanign that light. lol...but yea it seems to be a pretty comomon problem for bulbs to go out in these cars ive heard a few guys complain about it.
