Ive been quoted $5200 and $4300 from 2 different shops. Pay the money get it done right. Have everything replaced (timing belt, water pump etc. etc.) you get what you pay for. Pay less than $2k to have some1 swap it in or do it yourself and you are just asking for problems down the road. Shipped a complete swap (everything included but parts need to be replaced NO MATTER WHAT) will run arond $1550-$1600 from www.infinitemotorsports.net. They do complete tests before even putting them on the market to sell. You can find a b16a almost everywhere u look.

I payed $3250 for my complete swap.. Thats in Canadian funds though.

Shop around, get to know some people in your area that are in to swaps and ask them about doing one for you. It well worth the money.

That sounds like a bit too much to me. All the motor stuff minus the ECU shouldn't cost more than $2000, and I don't know what ECU is in that package, but I doubt it's supposed to cost $1000.
