what year motors can i use in my 96 sl2
i have a 1996 sl2 that is knocking and i have a 1992 sl2 motor that runs beautiful can i put it in my 1996 even if i have to modify a few things it is ok

well that depends on how far you want to go. from what i understand, 91-92 need to be used with there pcm. which legally, you can not turn an ob2 vehicle to ob1. just stay away from 91-92

that sux cause i have a 1992 donor car and cant seem to use the parts 4 anything

Before I opened it up though try running the vin at your work to get a date of manufacture. Good luck.
