Downhill Mountainbiking

So is anyone else here crazy enough to do it? I do, nothing like a 60mph run down the side of a mountain to get the heart rate up....

Re: Downhill Mountainbiking

not down a mountain, but down a HUGE hill. It took me a good 5 minuts untill i got the guts to go. It was really steep. (i was on my BMX bike)

I do cross country, my buddy Greg Minnaar is pretty handy at the downhill stuff though.

Re: Downhill Mountainbiking

I love downhil biking but only on a mountain bike, I feel much safer.

I had a duel suspension moutain bike from Avanti, before my brother pulled it apart to the shit house I used to ride down steep dirt hills all the time in my local park, nothing like the rush of riding down a hill avoid rocks trees and bushes. I love it.

But I don't do that anymore I just do BMX road riding now. Man, this thread is giving me motivation to go offroad again. I love you guys.

Re: Downhill Mountainbiking

Its almost offroad time here in new england, most of the snow is gone but now its mud season. Most of us wait until the ground firms up a bit before riding (its amazing how much 2 riders can tear up a trail), but we always get some ass who has to go out in the mud and wreck things for everyone. We had a sweet loop through a nursery, along the back fence, up a hill and a nice sweet downhill, got wrecked and now we can't use it.
