oil Filter Placement?

I have a 1991 lexus ls400 and i have no idea where the oil filter is. i bought a new filter and oil and couldnt find the old filter under the hood. i was wondering if it is in a place where i could change the oil myself....or if it is hidden so i have to waste money at a shop?

any help would be great.
