Found a GST !!

Well guy after 2 year and couple month, rode a 97 gs and 97 rs. Finally I found a guy that selling 95gst, I was in nail class, one of my homeboi friend come in class, and ask me, is my car turbo, I say "no" I was told him I wish I have a turbo eclipse, he told me he have 1, and it in the front of the sku right now, him and me get out the class( my teacher still talking ), after seen it, it was a nice car, he told me the engine was rebuild, and 6 bolt swap, it have 97 front bumper conversion( no paint yet ). He have BOV too, he told me every thing else is stock, one more thing that he mention to me is, if he rode a car 1 month without check the oil, when he check it almost empty

. Well after that I ask him can I rode the car, he say sure, so I get on and turn on the 4g63 ( for the first time in my life

). It 5 speed, no noise on the engine, OMG I feel different when I WOOT, then my 97 rs. It pull really hard, shift gear is smooth too, after 15 min on highway IM IN LOVE WITH THE TURBO, he ask me 2800 for it, couple month ago he bought 3800. What you guy think ?.

well its either leaking or burning oil, other than that its a good price

Grab that shit up man. Sell your shitty RS and start doing some maintenance and rebuilding on that bad boy.

be carefull, i had the same problem with my '97 gs and it turned out to be my head gasket was starting to go...lucky for me i sold it and bought a gs-t 2 weeks later

I forget to mention, the odometer is not working, when I was on the highway, I dont know how fast I was going, and I cant tell the RMP when I shift the gear, I just shift like normal.

I don't know about all that... sounds like it may have some issues. He got it cheap to start with so I'm sure it probably has some problems going on with it. If I was you I would try to get more information on it.

If you know how to fix a car ( not just basic maintance) I would buy it. GST with a 6 bolt for less then 3K is not a bad deal at all. I would buy it right away for that much money, but I want a GSX. I would buy it. Make some tests on the engine, see if its giving any codes, compression , stuff like that but for that much money its dirt cheap. You get what you paid for though.

95's didn't have 6 bolts did they?
