oil filter adapter O-ring on 93' prelude
Hey I had a oil leak this morning and I took it to my mechanic to find out what the leak was and he said it was a oil filter adapter O-ring. I was wondering if someone could help or give me a link telling me how to replace it. I have a 93 prelude SI. Thanks

Re: oil filter adapter O-ring on 93' prelude
when was the last time you changed your oil? did you take it to a shop or do it yourself? sometimes the o-ring on the old oil filter gets stuck on the motor so you have to scrape it off before you put on a new one. and make sure you lube up the new o-ring before you tighten 'er down.

Re: oil filter adapter O-ring on 93' prelude
thats not what he was talking about, ya p-brain
. The o-ring is between the oil filter sandwich plate and the block. All ya do is take the oil filter off and theres a bolt there, remove that and you can take off the sandwhich plate and replace the o-ring.
