School Project Beetle '69
Hi every one!
I am a regular at this forum but at the car modelling section, and I thought I should show of my latest project in 1:1. A '69 beetle. For many years ago it was stored in a barn by a friend’s dad, due to lack of inspiration. And now almost 20 years later it’s being restored as a school project by me and my friend. Every thing done to it has been done in our garage by our own hands, even the paint job. So what do you guys think? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Allot of work ahead of us... but remember this is made in 200 ours

Re: School Project Beetle '69
Very nice.
I renovated my '69 myself, too. (Everything except the paint) and had a blast doing it. (www.boatcop.com/project.htm) Keep us up to date on the progress, and if you have any questions or need some tips, maybe we can help. Be careful using the term "restore". Purists reserve that word for putting the car back to original condition. Using only NOS German parts or good used parts for that year and making it exactly the way that it came out of the factory. |
