O/t LED's

Thaught this would be helpful for people that make their diecast cars glow.. I have used this website after finding it on e-bay for like 2 years now.. all the LED's come with resistors.. many different colors.. and they are CHEEP! 3mm and 5mm LED's.. ( 5mm is what they sell at radio shack )

Re: O/t LED's

nice link...

my "neon" works are all made from scratch... i just buy some LEDS ,toggle, and 9v batt.. then all the wirings & soldering are made by me..

its a little bit hassle.. but its fun.

Re: O/t LED's

going to that site.. you will still have to solder... you will just get the LED's and the resistors so they dont burn out, the wiring, soldering, and mounting all has to be done by you. I was just puting that site up for a cheep place to get LED's. hope it helped some people.. LED's at radio shack are 2-4 dollars for 2, depending on the color.. and they are 5mm in size.. the ones on the site.. are like 4 dollars for 10, with resistors and you get get them in a small 3mm which i found is PERFECT for diecast models.. easy to hide..

Re: O/t LED's

$10 isn't too bad for a led kit.
