Re: Hi-new here,need help

Welcome to AF!

It would be very very helpful to see your drawings, maybe you have a friend with a scanner, digital camera, or you go to a copy shop to get them scanned. Or even your school could help you.

I can give you only a few advice:

- try out different materials. you may have started with pencil, but try a ballpoint also. You can use markers for concept renderings, color pencils for realistic car drawings. get some pastell chalks. You can combine them with markers, and they are quite cheap and have a nice effect.

-practise, practise practise.

- watch cars especially for dimensions and reflections while you're going to school, driving with the bus... etc.

Hope to see some drawings soon, good luck!

Re: Hi-new here,need help

I prefer Copic Markers but they are expensive. Alex (you might take a look at on of his recent posts) uses prismacolor markers, they are said to be great aswell. For a start, you might choose some less expensive ones first.

Re: Hi-new here,need help

start with a big box in perspective and add the car in it. it helps for perspective. don't go into detail until you have the basic shapes of the whole car down.
