99 Windstar blowing #10 fuse
I'm blowing the #10 fuse about once a week. It runs alot of things. i.e. ABS, A/C relay, speedometer, odometer, air temp mix door, front and rear fans. Any ideas on a common cause or what I need to do to find it. It runs so many things, I wouldn't know where to start.....Thanks

Re: 99 Windstar blowing #10 fuse
I would try two items:
1. Pull the rear defrost relay. 2. Disconnect the pressure switch on the master cylinder ... this will cause you to lose speed control. I suspect #2. |

Re: 99 Windstar blowing #10 fuse
I had the same fuse blow on my 98 Winstar. I noticed my brake light was coming on. It turned out that the master cylinder was leaking some fluid and causing a short I believe on the master cylinder switch. This is what kept blowing fuse #10. Check that master cylinder
