Chassis Plans

Hi, i was wondering if any one had any plans for the F40's chassis, I've got some photos, but no dimensions or flat plans? I was planning on building a proper metal frame. Another thing that I need, is the F40's user manual. I have searched on google, but they have all been taken down. Thanks for any help.

Re: Chassis Plans

If you were asking about any other car, I'd say that you were SOL- that's not the kind of info that manufacturers publish. But strangely enough, the F40 owner's manual does include dimensioned drawings and diagrams of the frame, which are probably sufficient for scratchbuilding- especially if you have a kit to compare against.

As for getting ahold of it, you could try emailing the webmaster for FerrariDownloads- he certainly had the F40 up at one time.

If he can't help you, most Ferrari manuals are availible on CD's online for about $11 USD. Find them on Ebay, and go to the site of whoever it is that sells them.

Thanks, I'll buy one of the sets on eBay. Wasn't sure whether it would have what I wanted in it, but now I know it has, I'll ave to buy one.
