The New dodge Caliber SRT

go to this web site and its got a video of the caliber when it was still being tested. www.streetfire.net. I just cant replace the neon even if it does have a hemy. Shoot if I wanted a station wagon I would have bought a magnum and not a neon.

That's some ugly ass shit, and the people in the video are annoying as fuck "Oh wow look a caliber, omg awesome wow!!!" I saw one at the Houston car show and asked the rep. lady wtf Dodge was thinking...she wasn't sure what to say...

It doesn't have a hemi, probably the SRT4 engine.

There is supposed to be a Caliber SRT, which, word is, will get a 215hp, turbocharged 2.4-liter four like the PT Cruiser Turbo.

Not saying its the best looking car out there ( its not) but the SRT4 version will have the new 2.4L I-4 Turbo 300hp, and 260 ft/lbs tourqe and a 6-sp manual. Check out dodge's site, its all confirmed. I have a feeling it'll sell, why you ask??? Well look at the WRX. It aint the good looking but its got power, and thats why people buy it. Power talks! That said, those guys are acting like little school girls!!!

however, with all that extra power, its 0-60 times are the same as the current srt4's. this means that the car will be heavy, and $10 says it wont handle all that well.

your comment about the suby was correct, but still pulls the market away from enthusiasts. most suby purchases are people who dont plan on driving fast. was it r&t or c&d that put it as one of the most popular lesbian cars on the market?

Nope, this is the one and only replacement for the Neon. Dodge it betting on this to become thier hot selling compact car. Well see if it works, i'm not too sure it'll sell like they want it to.

Weather or not it will handle well is a bit vague. If your betting it won’t handle as good as the Neon SRT-4? I’d be willing to take that bet because even though the Caliber SRT-4 is going to be heavier then the Neon, it’s not going to be by much and I think with it’s better chassis and suspension the Caliber will out handle the Neon.
