Could it be a wireing problem

it seams that when i try and start my 92 town car sometimes it will start and other times no....also when it does start when i put my brake on it stalls any idea's....Thanks

I had somewhat of a simular problem, recently, that may, or may not be, a thought for you. My '96 would start... but mostly not. I had to pump the gas peddle while starting to get it to go. Then I had to hold my foot on the gas to keep it there until the engine warmed up.

It had sat too long and lost the pressure in the fuel system. Like if you run the gas tank bone dry. Now that I drive it every other day, or so, it starts and runs perfect. Just like it used to.
