What a bad day at work looks like...
....at my job. So this was my little project for the day. And tomorrow I'm going to try to remember how to put it all back together.
          2006 Mercedes ML350.....5500 miles. The car came in flooded which fried all the control modules on the floor. The car sat outside for over a month because all the parts were back-ordered from Germany (go figure considering where the car is assembled  ). We concluded that the leak was coming from the firewall area so the dash and heater housing (that big black thing in the middle) had to come out. And after all that we still have a definitive answer as to where the leak is.  So when you go to work tomorrow be thankful you're not walking into that mess. Wish me luck!!!

Thanks guys. But putting it back together is only half the problem. After the leak is fixed I have fix the electrical system. All those control modules need to be replaced and re-coded to the vehicle through our laptops. And then I have to go through all the electrical connectors and replace all the corroded pins because they don't exactly like being soaked in water. But I can't complain too much because I....will....make.....Mercedes....PAY.
