Hi Guys
I have a 97 nissan altima MT, its a dumb question but anyways my throw bearing is making alot of noise when i press the clutch it goes away (i think its due to freeplay) is their anyway to reduce the noise without replacing it. |

The noise is your transmission bearings. When you step on the clutch peddle, the pressure increases on the throwout bearing and the mainshaft and mainshaft bearings stop turning. When a T.O. bearing is bad, the noise increases when the clutch peddle is depressed. There is nothing you can do other than replace the transmission or bearings.
