The only 88-91 Civics in kit form at the CRX by Fujimi. That would be a good jumping off point for a conversion to the hatch, but it would be a ton of work. There was also a resin kit of the hatch, but it was very limited in production and you can't find them anywhere now.

Re: 70 Barracuda and 88-91 civic kits

there is a 1:24 70 Hemicuda, Revell made one, but its absolutely horrible. the proportions are way off, and the roof is terrible. someone makes a resin conversion kit to make a 70 out of the Revell 71, but I can't remember who makes it, which would result in a much more accurate replica. The other alternative is finding an MPC 70 Hemi Cuda kit, which sell for about 150-160 bucks on EBAY,

Dude I've been looking for Honda EF kits so I can duplicate my K20R-powered 1991 EF sedan:

Revell never made a '70 Hemi Cuda, it was an AAR (homologation special of the Trans Am road racer) w/the small motor and different hood. And yes it did suck royally because they based it on the longer Challenger T/A guts which is incorrect. None of the Revell/Monogram 1/24 scale Barracudas are particularly attractive, they're chunky and thick w/some heavy details.

Perry's Resin has a conversion to make a '70 Barracuda from the fairly common AMT '74 Barracuda snap kit or the Johan '71.

That kit is of the '84-'88 hatch.

Re: 70 Barracuda and 88-91 civic kits

there was never a production made kit of the 88-91 civic hatch's. But there were a few resin ones made. but g'luck on ever finding those ones. The only hatches are the mid 80's slantback, and then the eg 92+ and etc.
