2003 Venture Remote Opening
On my 2003 I don't have the remote to unlock and open the power sliding door. I know someone who can use thier remote to unlock and open my doors, how can I disable this feature on my van?? I didn't beleive it until we parked them side by side and he showed me, YIKES! Who else can open my van??

If it is just the power sliding doors that you are referring to, I believe there is a disable switch or two in the overhead console that will keep the doors from working with the remote. My owner's manual also says that each remote should be "coded" so that someone else's remote should NOT work on your van. So it is kind of strange. Is it just the power doors, or do the locks to the rest of the van unlock too? Edit: Try to get a remote that controls the side doors. You can usually find them on eBay for a reasonable price. Take Care,

Re: 2003 Venture Remote Opening
Reprogramming the system will clear any learned codes. This should disable his remotes.
Your friend should play the lottery. The odds that his codes would work with your vehicle, while possible, is incredibly remote. I'm not accusing him of anything, but has he ever been alone with your vehicle and could have programming his remotes to your van?
