Header Help!
I'm seriously considering putting headers on my 1994 F-150 with a 302. Is there anything I need to worry about with the computer or the engine freaking out?

Re: Header Help!
NO, when you install a header you increase the flow of the exhaust gases, this increases horse power by decreasing the resistance to the intake of fresh air, if anything it will make the computer work more effieciently.

Re: Header Help!
Thanks. I have heard that a law was passed in the early 90's to make vehicles more enviromently friendly and so the o2 sensor will go crazy if you remove it (which I would be doing). But I heard that it only applies to '95 and on.

Re: Header Help!
Headers are available for alot of applications, that have the necessary fittings for the O2 sensor and air injection. Some will even flange up to stock exhaust system. Fittings are available that you can add, or have added at an exhaust shop. Youll have driveability /fuel mileage problems if you just do away with O2 sensor/air injection, without making other changes. Good luck.
