Hi everybody-
I was thinking about putting in an overhead console in my 93 Blazer. It originally didn't come with one. I want to put just the basic one in with out temperature or compass, just the one with the extra maplights and storage. From what I have gathered it appears that all I would need to do is basically mount it up there, disconnect my current dome light, reconnect the wires to the the overhead console and be done with it. Thanks for any help with this. It will make this thing look better inside.

Re: Overhead console install question
I'm 1/2 thinking of doing the same if I can find 1 at the wrecker. I've got other plans in mind first though, including a sub box that will hopefully replace the rear seat. (Job starts next week if I don't get the sales job)
If you have a digital can you post pic's of the work? I know I will with my mod even though I'll be using cheap subs. |

Re: Overhead console install question
It isn't that bad molehole. You should be able to get a thermometer/compass console to work no problem. You need to get the vss vehicle speed sensor located, and you have to find one that fits well and get it to stay, but after that you're set.
