Unhappy How many pins in a 1991 735i transmission?

Hi there,
Does anybody know how many pins there are in a 1991 735i automatic transmission?
My trans gave up on me and I'm trying to get a used one but I was asked how many pins does it have.
I know it is a 4HP22GM, but apparently there are a couple versions. I also would like to wait before I tow the car to the shop in order to check prices, because I would know how many pins it has when the mechanic brings the trans down of course, but I don't want to spend much money (labor and trans).

Thank you all!

As there are two variations - Crawl under pull off the electrical plug on the side of the gearbox and count them 7 0r 8 I think from memory?
