Question Old K-5 Blazers

Just curious... Does anyone have a fullsize blazer older than 89'? I have a full size 84 Blazer that i am doing a frame off restoration on. So far i have put a 3/4 drive train in it with a blown 355. I have also done lots of body work and repainted it. To top it off there is a six inch suspension lift on it. Can't wait to bring it to the dunes!!

Re: Old K-5 Blazers

Since you're in Michigan, I guess you mean the Silver Lake dunes? I get up there a few times each summer. My brother in law has a late 70's Blazer he runs up there. Always a good time.

Still will never forget a couple years ago when a guy in a brand new H-2 got stuck at the top of test hill. He had it buried up to the frame....

Yep.. I am talking about Silver Lake. My brother has a yellow lifted 74 chevy that we bring up there as well. We also bring our sport quads up. We usually make it up there once or twice a month when the weather is nice. Hopefully the blazer is done in time to bring it up there this summer!! I will try to post some pictures soon.
