Easy question any 1998 Stratus owner. Please answer!

Hello everyone! I need a little help. All I need to know is if it matters what size a license plate holder is if I were to buy one for my husband's 1998 Stratus? I found one that I want to buy him for his birthday. And I can't exactly go out and measure if myself without looking suspicious. Can anyone help me? Oh and the stats of the holder I want to buy him are:
Measures 12" x 6"
Constructed of chromed steel
Graphics are applied with permanent adhesive vinyl decals
UV and water-resistant decal
